Mastermind Barber Battle & Expo Recap
We had an awesome time at the Mastermind Barber Battle & Expo over at the Hollywood Theatre here in Vancouver. It was a fantastic gathering of barbers, stylists, and industry folks — a real celebration of talent and creativity. We even had the pleasure of sponsoring the event, and honestly, we couldn’t pass up the chance to be part of such an amazing event!
They brought together some talented local barbers to show off their skills in various categories. They competed in styles like Best Fade, Classic (scissors only), Freestyle Beard, and Creative Freestyle. Each category had five contestants, and the winners took home a $1,000 cash prize. A great way to celebrate and reward some amazing talent.
This was our first time here and it was awesome to meet all the local barbers and connect over hair, barbering, and much more. One of the best parts of attending was that there were 8 educators hosting demos while the battle was going on.
