New game changer

Extremely Versatile

As someone who has very thick hair, I usually go for the Cavalier Clay. But recently as I’ve been trying new styles, the matte cream clay is very easy to work with. It’s light, has a great hold without feeling greasy or sticky, and the matte finish is a great touch.

New formula. Much Improved Finish

Used the older version few year back and absolutely was not a fan of the waxy bunched up wet texture it gave my thick straight hair. New formla feels much drier in hands that translates into a much better drier and natural finish. But don't let that fool you. It still contains the right amount of moisture to tame frizz, give texture, and put your hair under control

Updated and definitely improved

The new Monarch matte paste delivers on the promise of having a stronger hold - almost comparable to Original, while still being light enough to give the hair volume and texture. The old formula was lighter and didn't last a full day for me. Also as promised, it has better scent than it did originally - it now has a light aloe-like soap scent instead of the previous flower smell. Touching your hair after applying makes it feel soft and pliable, while still having that control and hold. All that being said, this may well be my new favorite styling product.

WOW! Just WOW! Just when I thought that this product couldn't get any better....The formulas new scent is much appealing. And it feels much natural with impeccable hold. 10/10 for me! Ya'll killing it :) This is my staple, and I will remain a loyal customer.
