PRE-STYLE

Start with Texturizing Sea Salt Spray

STEP 1

Slightly dampen hair with water. Use a mist spray bottle for more even coverage.

STEP 2

Apply 2-3 sprays of Texturizing Sea Salt Spray and work it into hair with hands or brush.

STEP 3

Use a blow dryer (preferably with a diffuser attachment) and scrunch up the hair with hands to achieve the desired wavy texture.

POST-STYLE

Finish with Matte Cream Clay

Scoop a dime-sized amount of product, warm it up between your palms, and apply into towel-dried hair.

Amazing Versatile Paste

I have 5-6 inches of thick/wavy long hair on the top and I was excited to try this product out. While the hold can drop throughout the day, it definitely doesn’t stop me from putting it back into place or changing the look of my style. I absolutely love the matte finish which allows a little bit of shine to go through. It doesn’t feel too sticky or hard. This product is advertised as working way better on thin-fine hair but honestly I love the results I get with my thick hair.

Best product ever!!

Monarch is like similar cavalier but with easier application. It definitely gives less texture than cavalier but I just use some cavalier clay for texture. I love how easy it is to readjust my hair throughout the day with that combo.
