2018 Year in review

MONARCH MATTE PASTE JUNE 5, 2018

Monarch Matte Paste marks our fourth styling product. Monarch was set out to provide a seamless styling experience while also giving a strong hold. We heard the concerns of products not being able to perform well when they are so easy to apply.

So we took that as a challenge to create something that solved this problem. Texture was something we added in extra alongside a strong hold and effortless styling experience. 

 

6 MONTH HAIR GROWTH CHALLENGE START: SEP 17, 2018

What started as a choice by Joe has evolved into a movement. Joe AKA the BluMaan has inspired so many to grow out their hair for 6 months straight. It's your decision to keep the sides long but the most important part is the top of the hair should not be cut in terms of length (a bit of thinning is ok).

Joe's mission was to try something new with his hair, and to bring back his old long luscious hair. But instead of doing it alone he has made it a movement. Let's all embrace the awkward stage together!

GORDON HAYWARD & BLUMAAN SEPTEMBER 24, 2018

It was July 20th and we had just came into the office as a regular day. Little did we know that while NBA all-star Gordon Hayward was flying on a jet plane that it would connect us and him together. 

The power of social media and his audience had asked him what styling product he uses for his hair. He wrote... Monarch Matte Paste and tagged Joe AKA the BluMaan. The rest was history.

We flew out to Boston to meet Gordon and his professional and experienced barber to talk basketball, hair, fashion, Youtube, and games. 

 

FIFTH SAMPLE STYLING MASK POMADE NOVEMBER 7, 2018

Our 5th product also called Fifth Sample Styling Mask Pomade. Long story short, this one's a bit unique as it was a re-introduction of an older product. Long ago, we had the original Fifth sample, however due to unforeseen issues we had to stop the production and selling of it. Fast forward 2 years and we finally bring it back with an updated formulation and new look. 

Fifth Sample Styling Mask Pomade contains five healthy hair ingredients and acts as a styling mask to nourish your hair throughout the day. When you're ending the day, easily wash out the pomade with water and witness your hair become super soft.
